When we rolled out our Hop Cycle seasonal series last year, we were captivated by the simple, hand-drawn approach to the labels for Cultivator, Hop Knife and Blizzard of Hops. Turns out you all shared our excitement for the new artwork too! In an effort to bring consistency to our packaging and color palette, we decided to apply the clean, illustrative look and feel of these labels to the entire family of Tröegs beers. To achieve this uniform look, we collaborated with Philadelphia-based artist and designer Lindsey Tweed to create our new art, and we’re excited to provide you with an exclusive first look at the new artwork for Perpetual IPA!
Hop Knife Cans 
Hop Knife cans are coming! After the much-anticipated bottle and draft release of Hop Knife last month, we’re excited to get these brand new cans into the hands of you, our thirsty fans. Hop Knife Harvest Ale recognizes the time-honored tradition of hand-harvesting hops at the peak of maturity. At the end of fermentation, the beer flows through our HopCyclone releasing a bounty of preserved citrus rind, crushed jungle and tropical aromas. You can expect to see cans begin popping up across our entire distribution footprint by late
Scratch Beer Roundup
We’ve got plenty of exciting things happening in the Scratch Beer camp lately! When in Doubt, our insanely drinkable Kölsch-style ale, is now available on draft exclusively at the brewery. Pale and straw- colored with hints of white grape, spiced apple, and citrus fruit, this invigorating ale will alleviate any uncertainty you’ve got when reaching for your next beer. Coming soon, we’ve got another interpretation of an easy-drinking German-style Helles Lager as well as two Fresh Hop Ales featuring local hops from Sunny Brae Hops in Carlisle. (See below for additional info on our field trip to Sunny Brae.) Finally, Dead Reckoning Porter recently hit tap lines in the Tasting Room today for the first time since last fall.
Field Trip to Sunny Brae Hops
A few weeks ago, the Tröegs crew visited Sunny Brae Hops, a local hop farm in nearby Carlisle, PA. The goal of the day was to harvest Cascade, Chinook and Comet hops we helped plant back in May to be used in upcoming fresh hop Scratch Series beers. Our Snack Bar team was also on-hand to prepare a tasty lunch for everyone, and our thirsty, hardworking crew washed everything down with – what else? – Hop Knife Harvest Ale!
