NoDa Brewing Collaborates with Night Shift Brewing Again

NoDa Brewing Company to kick off their sour program by bringing back a collaborative brew with Night Shift Brewing titled Stop, Collaborate & Glisten.
Charlotte, NC, December 12, 2015 –(PR.com)– This week NoDa Brewing Company will officially kick off its sour program by bringing back a collaborative brew from the past with Night Shift Brewing. The Night Shift brewers will be in Charlotte to brew 30 bbls of Stop, Collaborate & Glisten, a sparkling golden ale fermented in wine barrels with Sauvignon Blanc grape must and a blend of wild yeast strains, on NoDa’s original 15 bbl brewhouse.
“When we made the decision to turn our original production facility into a barrel aging, sour, specialty house, we knew we had to bring our friends at Night Shift Brewing down to bring back one of my favorite collaborations of all time — Stop, Collaborate & Glisten,” said Chad Henderson, co-owner & head brewer of NoDa Brewing Company. “I’m excited to brew with them again.”
Stop, Collaborate & Glisten will be debuted, in bottles and on tap at the tap rooms, targeting NoDa Brewing’s 5 year anniversary on October 29, 2016.
“The Night Shift crew is once again very excited to partner with our southern friends NoDa in brewing a unique barrel aged sour beer that highlights each brewers personality,” said Rob Burns, co-founder of Night Shift Brewing. “The original collaboration was brewed way back in May of 2013 and after a year in oak and now over a year in bottles, it continues to be a favorite sought after creation amongst fans of both breweries. The opportunity to resurrect this beer is truly a win for us and beer fans alike.”
NoDa Brewing’s barrel aging and sour program will begin to take shape over the next couple months as the office space at the original location is turned into conditioned space. Look for some new brews, as well as favorites to return; including Monstro, a Russian Imperial Stout aged in bourbon barrels, as the program expands.
