Karl Strauss Brewing Company Named California’s Brewery of the Year for 2016

SAN DIEGO, CA  Karl Strauss Brewing Company has proudly accepted the honor of being named Brewery of the Year for 2016 by the California Travel (CalTravel) Association.

Each year the association holds an awards ceremony to recognize standout organizations throughout the state that have helped to develop the California tourism brand. Karl Strauss joins an impressive list of previous winners in the Brewery of the Year category that includes Firestone Walker (2015), Russian River (2014), and Sierra Nevada (2013).

The award winners were announced at the Awards Dinner and Gala at the California Travel Summit in Palm Springs on May 11, 2016. Karl Strauss CEO & Co-Founder, Chris Cramer, was in attendance to accept the award.
