Cigar City – Dioscorides Imperial Stout & The Dark Woods

Here’s the latest packaging for Cigar City Dioscorides.  This bee ris an imperial stout brewed with spices (black caraway seeds) and aged in Rye Whiskey barrels.  Accodring to Cigar City, “Pedanius Dioscorides (40 AD – 90 AD) was an Ancient Greek physician and botanist.  His work, De materia medica was the leading literature in pharmacological studies for over 1,500 years.”  This beer will remain in 750ml bottles and the beer hits 12.1%-AbV & 27 IBU.  We also have the latest label for The Dark Woods dry-hopped ale aged on Padauk & Maple wood (22oz bottle).
