Mikkeller San Diego – Barrel Series Første Fødselsdag 1-Year Anniversary Beer

Today we have an interesting new Barrel Series bottle coming from Mikkeller San Diego. This is Første Fødselsdag and it translates to “first birthday.” This beer celebrates 1-year of brewing in San Diego and it is an ale aged on Cabernet Franc grapes and fermented with brettanomyces. Look for Første Fødselsdag to hit 8.9%-AbV and it will be packaged in 750ml bottles. We also have Barrel Series Stella 8 imperial stout brewed with coffee & vanilla and aged in Port wine & Whiskey barrels (12%-AbV).
