Ommegang Snommegang Coming To Two Locations In March 2018From Ommegang:

Our Snommegang Invitational Beer Festival is a celebration of the passionate pursuit of perfection shared by brewers across the country. To celebrate this noble endeavor, we proud to announce that in March 2018, we’ll host Snommegang in two locations: the inaugural Snommegang Lake Placid, and the fifth annual Snommegang Oneonta. For the Oneonta event, we’ll once again partner with America On Tap, the country’s leading producer of premium craft beer festivals, to expand this increasingly popular beer festival this winter in the City of the Hills.

Snommegang Lake Placid is Saturday, March 3 from 2-6 pm at the beautiful High Peaks Resort and will feature 30 of America’s best breweries, their medal-worthy beers, and hors d’oeuvre stations. Enjoying these delicious beers will be all the better thanks to the breathtaking back drop of Lake Placid, a truly dazzling winter landscape where visitors can experience a one-of-a-kind cross section of awesome beer, delicious food, and world-class alpine sport. Beyond the pour, visitors can enjoy Saturday late-night specials at area bars and Sunday hair-of-the-dog brunch specials around town.

Snommegang Oneonta is Saturday March 10 from 2-6 pm on historic Main Street in Oneonta, NY and will feature also feature 30 breweries from across the United States. The beer tasting is accompanied by live music, food and activities – all within heated tents along Muller Plaza and surrounding businesses on Main Street. Music and activities in Muller Plaza are free and open to the public, and tickets are only required for the tasting portion of the event.

Both Snommegang events are for guests age 21+. Tickets for both locations are on sale now. Snommegang Lake Placid tickets are $50 each and available on TicketFly.com. Tickets for Snommegang Oneonta vary in price depending on group size and purchase date. Visit Snommegang.com for more details.

America On Tap Beer Festivals is the first and only national live event series dedicated to showcasing specialty and craft breweries from around the globe, while also delivering authentic, craft beer-focused experiences filled with live music, great vendors, and delicious local food. Ommegang is pleased to continue their partnership America On Tap in 2018.

“As a proud Upstate brewery, we take great delight in celebrating our long, snowy season, embracing the beauty of this winter wonderland,” says Doug Campbell, our brewery president. “To add such a storied location and a fantastic partner as Village of Lake Placid to the Snommegang schedule represents a great evolution of the very strong event we’ve already built with America On Tap in Oneonta.”

“We are excited to continue our partnership with Brewery Ommegang and couldn’t be happier to see the Snommegang Festival expand to an additional location” said Brittany Gilman, Marketing Manager, America on Tap. “The Snommegang festival experience and reputation will only strengthen now with two weekends of overflowing fun and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”

We hope to see you at Snommegang this winter!
