About the beer: The Goose Island team brewed their version of an Irish Dry Stout for the fourth and final draft release of 2017. Named after the 1930’s fictional cartoon column of an Irish immigrant bar owner in the Chicago Bridgeport neighborhood, Mr. Dooley is always quick with a joke or advice for his patrons. On the nose, Dooley Dry Stout is full of dark roasted coffee, slightly sweet and dark chocolate aromas. This stout has a smooth malty sweetness that is balanced by a firm, bitter, and dry finish that will leave you lingering for another sip. So belly up to the bar, order a Dooley and partake in a folktale with your bartender to pass some time this winter.
