Council Brewing Barrel Blending Experience Coming 1/13/18

You are invited to join us on Saturday, January 13th at 6pm for an exclusive, behind the scenes experience at the Magic Factory with Curtis, Liz, and Jeff. During this fun evening you’ll be pulling samples directly from the barrels, geeking out on testing pH and gravity of the beers, discussing sour beer production, and helping us create the perfect blend of a Sour Brown with Cherries, while learning about our brewing and barrel blending methods.

Evening Agenda:
5:50-6:00pm: Meet in the Tasting Room to walk over to the Magic Factory together
6:00-6:30pm: Open vintage Council bottles to calibrate our pallets 
6:30-7:30pm: Pull barrel samples, test pH and gravity, create your own "perfect" blend of beer. Enjoy different cheeses from Venissimo to explore how it pairs with the beer. An IPA will be on tap at the Magic Factory for your enjoyment as well.
7:30-8:00pm: Learn about Council’s methods of blending and agree together how this batch will be blended and bottled.
