Harpoon Releasing UFO Pink Lemonade Shandy & Lime-y ViceFrom Harpoon:

Boston, MA & Windsor, VT – May 8, 2018 – It’s summertime (somewhere!) and UFO Beers
invites you to sip into the season with its newest refreshing, unfiltered offering made to inspire
some summer fun: UFO Pink Lemonade Shandy. Available now, this summer shandy is
packed with a sunny citrusy tang, at a drinkable 4.4 percent ABV, that’s perfect for backyard
barbeques, sunny beach days, and relaxing staycations. UFO Pink Lemonade is available now
through August on shelves, in twelve-ounce cans and bottles, and on tap.

“Shandys are nothing new for us here at UFO Beers, and we’re especially proud of this one”
says Al Marzi, Chief Brewing Officer for UFO Beers. "As always, our brewmasters spent many
hours working to perfect this delicious new shandy and we’re excited for everyone to get a
chance to try UFO Pink Lemonade.”

Shandys, which traditionally combine a light wheat beer or lager and fruit juice, were made for
UFO Beers – an innovative collection of flavorful wheat beers, featuring popular fruit trends and
year-round favorite flavors. UFO Pink Lemonade is the latest seasonal offering from UFO Beers,
and the third new brew launched this year, among the increasingly popular flavored beer
market, which has exploded by a whopping 80 percent over a five-year period, according to
new data from market research firm Mintel.

UFO Pink Lemonade is the latest “flavor adventure” in the UFO Beers lineup, and a brand-new
summer seasonal for 2018. Year-round unfiltered wheat beers include UFO White, UFO
Pineapple, UFO Raspberry and UFO Hefeweizen. A new UFO website chock-full of info about
UFO Beers, along with mouth-watering food and cocktail recipes utilizing UFO Pineapple, is
available at www.ufobeer.com.

About UFO Beers
UFO is a portfolio of wheat beers that’s a little bit different, a little more refreshing and
flavorful, and most importantly, a beer that everyone can enjoy. The name UFO stands for
UnFiltered Offering; all UFO beers are unfiltered, leaving the yeast suspended in the beer which
creates its signature cloudy appearance. UFO hit the scene in 1998 with a Hefeweizen. Since
then the UFO line has grown to include flavorful year-round offerings like UFO White Ale and
UFO Pineapple, and fresh seasonal offerings such as UFO Winter Blonde and UFO Apricadabra.Harpoon Releasing UFO Pink Lemonade Shandy & Lime-y Vice

MAY, 2018 – BOSTON, MA AND WINDSOR, VT – Harpoon Brewery’s newest summer seasonal
offering, a Miami-inspired gose, is now available. Harpoon Lime-y Vice is tart and
lime-y up front, with a delicately salty, slightly spiced crisp finish. A drinkable summer
gose at 4.7 percent ABV, Harpoon Lime-y Vice is bound to transport anyone to the
luxurious shores of Miami.

“A first for us here at Harpoon Brewery, this gose-style beer is packed with summery
lime flavor that we think our fans will love,” said Al Marzi, Chief Brewing Officer for
Harpoon Brewery. “As someone who can only dream of living the Miami life, sipping
Lime-y Vice easily transports me to my imaginary harborside yacht.”

Lime-y Vice is an intriguing mix of tart lime, spicy coriander, and sea salt. Perfect for
summer hangouts with friends, this crisp, hazy gose is a refreshing take on the style.
Harpoon’s brewers experimented with 8 or so iterations of a lime gose before achieving
the perfect balance of flavors and settling on the final recipe for Lime-y Vice. The beer
clocks in at 4.7 percent alcohol by volume, and has 8 IBUs. It’s available in six-packs of
12 oz. cans, in Harpoon’s Summer Vacation mix pack, and on draft.

Harpoon Lime-y Vice will be available throughout the summer in stores, on tap and at
Harpoon’s breweries in Boston and Windsor, VT. The new gose joins a returning
favorite summer seasonal from Harpoon, Camp Wannamango. For more information,
check out the Harpoon website or follow along on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
About the Harpoon Brewery:
The Harpoon Brewery was founded in 1986 by beer lovers who wanted more and better
beer options. When the Brewery was founded, Harpoon was issued Brewing Permit
#001 by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, since it was the first to brew
commercially in Boston after a dormant period of about 25 years. Harpoon’s line of craft
beer features its award winning IPA and UFO beers, along with special seasonal
selections. In 2000 Harpoon purchased a second brewery in Windsor, VT, making
Harpoon the 19th largest craft brewer in the US.  Harpoon has since introduced the
limited batch 100 Barrel Series and the as well as the all-natural Harpoon Craft Cider
made from freshly pressed apples.
