LEARN MORE

Boulder, CO  – December 18th, 2018 — Avery Brewing Company, a pioneering craft brewery known for its beer first ethos and its all-encompassing obsession with brewing, is pleased to announce Tap Room Rarity 16-ounce cans! You may have heard the term before, in fact, Avery Brewing has been making Tap Room Rarities – beers that never leave the Tap Room – for more than 20 years. With over 30 tap lines available at Avery Brewing, most beers available at the brewery are not packaged. That is, until now.

“With a tap wall featuring 30 beers at a time, we make over a 100 beers a year, many that never see the light of day outside of the brewery. We love that you can try a different beer every time you visit us,” says Ray Decker, Hospitality Manager at Avery Brewing. “But there are certain beers that have stood out throughout the years; fan favorites that have developed a cult following. These beers will now be packaged in 16-ounce four-packs so that fans can bring them home!”

Avery Brewing will be packaging a new Tap Room Rarity release every other month in limited quantities. Only sold from the brewery, these beers will pull from seasonal classics, fun variants, retired favorites, and possibly some completely new beers.

The first packaged Tap Room Rarity is Preesh Lightning IPA. This grapefruit IPA is a fan favorite and top seller from this past summer, with locals and Avery employees asking for it ever since it ran out. It will be available on December 28th, starting at 11:30 am MST. Cloud 9, an ethereal vanilla-bean Belgian-Style White Ale with extra orange zest, will be available in February 2019.

Can’t make it by the Avery brewery to pick up a Tap Room Rarity? Avery Brewing distributes 29 beers! Use the Brew Finder to find them near you: http://www.averybrewing.com/brew-finder
