Ommegang Adding Three Philosophers Variant Cans (Blueberry Coffee, Wine Barrel & Bourbon Barrel)

This morning we get our very first peek at several new variants for one of my all-time favorite beers.  Coming to us from Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, NY we bring you Three Philosophers…but not just any Three Philosophers….16oz canned Three Philosophers. Wine Barrel Three Philosophers is a blend of a quadrupel ale and Belgian Kriek ale with cherries that is aged in Red Wine barrels (9.7%-AbV).  Bourbon Barrel Three Philosophers is the same blend aged in Bourbon barrels (this is a returning beer, 11.7%-AbV)…and Blueberry Coffee Three Philosophers is the same blend with coffee and blueberry added (9.7%-AbV).  Yes these are all 16oz cans, and stay tuned here for more details and release info.  We also have the 16oz can for the base Three Philosophers (9.7%-AbV).
