WeldWerks Rye & Rye Vanilla Medianoche Release Coming 4/5

From WeldWerks:

Colorado is hosting the Craft Brewers Conference for the first time since 2014, and to celebrate, we are releasing two new Medianoche variants!

The first is Rye Vanilla Medianoche, which combines unique barrels with one of our favorite adjuncts. The blend for this batch was selected from freshly emptied 10-year American oak rye whiskey barrels used to age Medianoche for 18 months. These rye whiskey barrels are some of the most complex and interesting casks we have gotten our hands on, which were used to age whiskey made from 100% unmalted rye for over 10 years, imparting notes of butterscotch, vanilla, black cherries, and allspice. After 18 months of aging in the rye whiskey barrels, we conditioned this batch of Medianoche on copious amounts of Madagascar and Ugandan vanilla beans for over 3 months, contributing notes of sweet tobacco, milk chocolate, and brownie batter. These were the same barrels as used for our 4th Anniversary Medianoche, so if you enjoyed that brew as much as we did, then this variant will be right up your alley!

The second variant is Rye Medianoche, comprised of a completely different blend of rye whiskey barrels than Rye Vanilla! This batch of Medianoche spent 17 months in freshly emptied Pikesville 6-year straight rye whiskey barrels, which is one of our favorite rye whiskeys in the world. The dark chocolate, coffee, milk chocolate, and caramel notes of the Medianoche base beer are perfectly complemented by the sweet cherry, cinnamon apple, vanilla, and rye spice notes contributed by the Pikesville barrels. No adjuncts necessary!

In order to keep fees at a minimum but still offer the convenience and flexibility of guaranteed allocations, Eventbrite tickets to reserve bottles are FREE. Tickets will be available online exclusively through Eventbrite and tickets must be presented at the brewery between Friday, April 5th and Sunday, April 21st during normal taproom hours to purchase bottles. One (1) ticket is redeemable for the purchase of one (1) bottle. There is a strict limit of two (2) tickets for Rye Vanilla Medianoche and two (2) tickets for Rye Medianoche per person. Rye Vanilla Medianoche bottles are $32 each, and Rye Medianoche bottles are $26 each.

If you are unable to pick up bottles during the pickup window, PLEASE, DO NOT GET TICKETS! Any individuals associated with tickets for unclaimed bottles will be disqualified from future releases and events. Tickets will go live promptly at 10:00 am MDT on Saturday, March 30. Be sure to read all details below before purchasing tickets!
Ticket Details (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!)

  • Individuals must be 21 or older to acquire tickets and purchase bottles, as verified by a valid photo ID at the time of ticket exchange (bottle purchase).
  • Each ticket entitles the patron to purchase (1) one 22 oz bottle of Rye Vanilla Medianoche or (1) one 22 oz bottle of Rye Medianoche, as indicated on the Eventbrite ticket. There is a strict limit of 2 tickets per variant per person. One ticket = one bottle purchase, so a full allocation of (2) two bottles of Rye Vanilla Medianoche and (2) two bottles of Rye Medianoche requires the redemption of (4) tickets. Additional orders placed that exceed the limit of 4 tickets per person will be cancelled without notice.
  • Tickets must be exchanged for bottles in person at WeldWerks Brewing Co. (508 8th Ave, Greeley, CO 80631) between Friday, April 5th and Sunday, April 21st. Tickets (either digital or printed) must be presented by the person listed on the ticket in order to purchase bottles (no proxies). We recommend paper tickets for faster scanning.
  • A valid 21+ photo ID (no copies) must be presented at the time of pickup, and the name and address on the ID MUST MATCH the name and address of the Eventbrite ticketholder.
  • All bottles must be purchased between Friday, April 5th and Sunday, April 21st during normal taprooms hours. All unclaimed bottles remaining after the pickup window will be forfeited and the ticket holder will be disqualified from future releases and events.
  • All sales are final and no returns or exchanges will be accepted.
  • Individuals who attempt to violate these policies may be ineligible for future releases and events, so please do not waste our time and yours by trying to circumvent these rules.

In addition to the bottle release, we have four new can releases planned, which will be announced shortly. These beers and more will be available to-go starting at noon on Friday, April 5th. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for more details soon!
We are excited to share these beers with you. Thank you for your incredible support and we look forward to seeing you soon!

I’ve also added in the new 16oz cans for 3.8 Miles IPA (8.4%-AbV) & Apollo’s Remix (7%-AbV), TBD New England-style DIPA (8.2%-AbV).
