Tröegs Announces Annual Art of Tröegs Contest
HERSHEY, Pennsylvania – Tröegs Independent Brewing announces the return of its annual Art of Tröegs contest.
The independent, family-owned brewery is challenging fans to submit a piece of art inspired by its beer, label art, packaging, employees… or even the brewery itself.
Tröegs invites artists, crafters, hobbyists, and anyone with a creative spark to enter the contest by submitting original artwork in any medium: painting, photography, illustration, digital design, drawing, mixed media, crafts, sculpture, collage, jewelry, metalwork, carving, mosaic, stained glass, etc.
“Over the years, our fans have submitted just about everything you can possibly imagine,” says Tröegs co-founding brother Chris Trogner. “Some of our favorites have been a pair of custom Tröegs sneakers, a hand-painted acoustic guitar, a huge raptor made from aluminum cans and packaging materials, and even a miniature replica of our brewery populated by Smurfs.”
Based on artistic merit and chosen by a panel of Tröegs co-workers, one lucky winner will receive a pre-loaded $500 bank-issued gift card and be the guest of honor at the 2026 Art of Tröegs gallery opening later this year.
Several Art of Tröegs alumni have gone on to work with Tröegs on various creative projects, including crafting custom signage, painting murals, and designing beer labels.
“We’ve been holding the Art of Tröegs contest for twenty years, and we’re constantly blown away by the creativity of our fans,” adds Trogner. “We can’t wait to see what they come up with this year!”
Submissions for the Art of Tröegs contest will be accepted digitally until June 28, 2026.
Additional details and complete contest rules can be found at troegs.com/art.

We’re a bunch of family, friends and kindred spirits who share a love of great beer. Together, we make Tröegs.
Founded in Pennsylvania in 1997 by brothers John and Chris Trogner, Tröegs is driven by a sense of adventure and curiosity.
You might know our Perpetual IPA, the best-selling IPA in Pennsylvania. Or the dark, malty and crisp Tröegenator. Maybe you’ve tried one of the hundreds of experimental Scratch Series beers we’ve brewed. Or taken the “Best Brewery Tour in America” here at our Hershey home.
Whether you’re already a member of our extended family or you’re just getting to know Tröegs, there’s always something new to discover. Crack a Perpetual and stay awhile.
Family-owned. Independently crafted.
In the past 25 years, Tröegs has grown from two brothers to 250 people, but we’re still very much a family business. Because we stay true to our core values of independence and family ownership, we’ve kept the small-brewery DNA we all hold dear.
Perpetual exploration
Our small-batch Scratch Series and 3-barrel Scratch Lab are where we do the work needed to understand the “why” at the intersection of ingredients, technique and flavor.
Local ingredients
We live and brew in fertile central PA, and we’re proud to support our local farmers. Every year, we buy more than 225,000 pounds of local grain, honey and fruit to use in our beer.
Community
From bike rides that fund local trails to new beers that help preserve critical forests, our partnerships improve the places where we live, work and play.
