Sierra Nevada Releasing Celebration 2025 / Celly Drippings
I brought you an early peek at the packaging for this beer back in June, and now the beer is being released by Sierra Nevada Brewing in Chico, California, and Mills River, North Carolina. Sierra Nevada has released 2025 Celebration Fresh Hops IPA, and it will be around from October 2025 through January 2026. This from Sierra Nevada:
Freshly picked hops, rushed from farm to brewery, fill Celebration IPA with powerful citrus and pine flavors. When you’re on the slopes with friends or building a backyard campfire for the fam, you need a beer as fresh as fallen snow. Pure hops, balanced with rich caramel malt, make this a celebration in every sip.

Hop harvest happens once a year, sending brewers to the Pacific Northwest to choose the hops they’ll use for months to come. We certainly do that—“hop selection” for all our beers—but Celebration Fresh Hop IPA gets its own 800-mile road trip through Washington and Oregon to hand-pick the ultimate fresh hops for citrus, pine, and floral flavors at their most intense.
Once the hops come down, we race the harvest home to brew Celebration IPA within a few weeks. That’s the core of fresh hop beers: brew right away for maximum hop aroma and flavor.
Every sip of Celebration IPA captures the vivid flavor that only just-picked hops can deliver. It’s a once-a-year intensity that makes this beer the defining taste of the holidays. Watch the video below and follow our brewers into the fields where they obsessively craft this icon of IPA. For more than four decades, it’s the holiday beer to start the celebration.
Celebration IPA bursts with bold citrus and pine flavors from freshly picked hops, balanced by a rich caramel malt backbone. The result is a full-bodied yet crisp beer with a lingering hoppy finish that makes it the perfect holiday beer to enjoy all season long. Dive deeper into the flavor experience and check out the video explaining exactly what makes Celebration Fresh Hop IPA’s taste so distinctive. Get Celebration Ale Now.
[Editor’s Note]: Celly Drippings will return for 2025 in a larger release at both breweries.
Celly Drippins is an extremely limited-release IPA from Sierra Nevada Brewing, made by collecting drippings from the dry-hop bags of Celebration IPA.
What is Celly Drippins?
Intensified Hops:
The beer is a concentrated version of Sierra Nevada’s Celebration Fresh Hop IPA, with extremely high levels of hop flavor and aroma.
Unique Process:
It’s made from the flavorful drippings collected from the large nylon bags of fresh Cascade, Centennial, and Chinook hops used for dry-hopping the Celebration IPA.
Extreme Rarity:
Due to this process, only a small amount of Celly Drippins is produced, with the equivalent of one 12-ounce serving for every 5,000 cans of Celebration IPA.
When can you find it?
Annual Release:
Celly Drippins is typically available only at Sierra Nevada’s Mills River, North Carolina, taproom and Chico, California taproom.
Late November:
The official tapings of the 2025 batch will occur on November 21st, 2025
Check the Taproom: Be prepared to visit the Mills River or Chico taprooms on the release day to secure a draft pour.
