Today I have a new non-alcoholic beer and it’s coming from Yards Brewing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is Philthy Zero and it will be a non-alcoholic hazy IPA that will roll in at less than 0.5%-AbV as well as 70 calories and 18g carbs. Look for Yards Philthy Zero to be packaged in these 12oz cans by Two Roads in Stratford, Connecticut and stay tuned for release timing. I’ve also added in 2025 Philthy unfiltered hazy IPA (6%-AbV, 12oz cans).2025 Yards Philthy 12oz Cans

How it all began
Back in the late ’80s, two college buds Tom and Jon, decided to brew some beer for their friends. Whether it was natural talent or the endless supply of suds, people liked what they tasted and wanted more. They didn’t know it at the time, but this was the beginning of what was to become Yards Brewing Company.

Where we are now
Yards has been brewing Philly’s beer since 1994. We’ve grown from a garage-sized operation in Manayunk all the way up to our current location at 500 Spring Garden Street in Northern Liberties. And we couldn’t have done it without your support through the years. Our beers always have and always will be brewed, bottled, kegged, and canned for the hard working people of Philadelphia and beyond.

Why we do it
Our founder, Tom Kehoe, and the Yards Crew share a commitment to supporting the good people and organizations making our backyard a better place to live and work. Here at Yards, it’s always been about working hard, having fun, and giving back. Our Brew Unto Others motto reflects our commitment to quality, community, and sustainability. It’s also a call-to-action. We encourage you to get together, to enjoy our beer, each other’s company, and to Brew Unto Others every day.

We don’t believe things are made in Philadelphia. We believe things are made BY Philadelphia.

Yards Brewing Company started as a small, garage-sized operation in Manayunk before moving to its current location at 500 Spring Garden Street.

Brewing:

Taproom:
The Yards Taproom in Philadelphia offers a full menu of beers, including seasonal and special releases, along with a food menu that includes snacks, sandwiches, and entrees.

Community Focus:
Yards is committed to supporting the local community and has partnered with organizations like Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and the Greater Philadelphia YMCA. They also operate a Community Table in their taproom for groups and events.

Sustainability:
Yards is committed to sustainability and became the first wind-powered brewery in Pennsylvania, using 100% wind power for their operations.

Partnerships:
Yards has expanded its reach through partnerships, including a collaboration with
B3 Beverage Co. to offer contract brewing services for a wider range of brands.
