The newest from Bale Breaker is a classic light beer – beer that tastes like beer.

Yakima, Washington – Feb 5, 2026 – Bale Breaker Brewing Company, a family-owned brewery located in the beautiful Yakima Valley, is excited to announce their newest addition to their year-round lineup: Five Star Dive Bar Light Beer. A delicious, classic light beer clocking in at 4.1% – beer that tastes like beer.

Five Star Dive Bar was initially released last year as a draft-only offering, and quickly became a cult favorite at bars and restaurants across the brewery’s distribution network in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. “It was an easy decision to move Five Star into cans, but we immediately felt that 6pks weren’t the right format for them,” says Bale Breaker co-owner Kevin Quinn. The team decided to package these in a larger format – 12pks – to reflect the easy-drinking nature of the beer – the perfect drink to enjoy while watching a game, while on a camping trip, or just as a little treat at the end of a long day.

Five Star Dive Bar 12pks are hitting shelves in late February at retailers and bottleshops across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho – it’s available now on draft in bars/restaurants. But as a special, one-day only sale to celebrate the launch, the brewery decided to do something special.

“We realized we could package a small amount this week to get them in customers hands for the Seahawks game this weekend,” says brewery co-owner Meghann Quinn. “So we’re launching a special one-day only SUPER sale – $12 12pks for the 12th Man!”

This deal will be available at the brewery’s Yakima taproom for just 3 hours this upcoming Sunday, Feb 8th -folks can come by and grab a 12pk from 12-3pm on 2/8 for $12. After this upcoming 3 hour sale, Five Star won’t be available again until late February.

The full launch of these 12pks in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho will be in late February – customers can buy 12pks at both their Yakima and Seattle taprooms starting February 20th. Customers can also use the brewery’s beer finder to find Five Star near them, and customers in Washington state can order directly to themselves via the beer store on their website.

To celebrate the official launch, the brewery is turning their Yakima taproom into a Dive Bar on Friday, February 20th. Full details for that party are available here.
