AleSmith Adding 2026 Barrel-Aged Speedway Stout Islander Joy Edition & Speedway Stout Salted Caramel
This morning, I have some new and updated brews coming in 2026 from AleSmith Brewing in San Diego, California. 2026 Barrel-Aged Speedway Stout Islander Joy Edition will remain an imperial stout aged in Bourbon barrels with Vietnamese coffee, double coconut, and double vanilla (14.29%-AbV), and Speedway Stout Salted Caramel will be an imperial stout with caramel, sea salt, coffee, and natural flavors (12%-AbV). Both beers will be packaged in 16-oz cans, and stay tuned for 2026 release details.
Label Text AleSmith Barrel-Aged Speedway Stout Islander Joy Edition:
“A longtime favorite at the brewery, Islander Joy is now available for a wider release. This barrel-aged stout blends Tahitian vanilla, Vietnamese coffee, and creamy coconut with flavors and aromas of rich chocolate. Silky and decadent, it’s like a chocolate coconut treat in a glass, smooth, indulgent, and full of layered flavor.”
Label Text AleSmith Speedway Stout Salted Caramel:
“Inspired by our favorite coffeehouse flavors, this special variation of our classic Speedway Stout combines rich roasted coffee with buttery caramel and a touch of sea salt for a perfectly balanced profile. Smooth and full-bodied, it features layered notes reminiscent of a caramel-focused café creation.”
