The brand continues its strong presence across Ohio by adding a location inside an IHG Hotel and Resort property. The newly constructed building is expected to open in June 2024. "Our background is in hotels, and one of our hotels in Cincinnati has a Perkins Restaurant & Bakery. We have seen how successful the location has been and wanted to get in on the action for ourselves," said Gurwinder Sohal, Co-Owner of the upcoming Cincinnati Perkins location.

Sohal leads the franchise acquisition with Jagpal Crewal, Arjan Singh, Jagroop Toor, and Rajinder Kumar. Supported by a successful development team at Ascent Hospitality Management, Sohal expresses his appreciation for the team, particularly Peter Ortiz, Chief Development Officer at Ascent Hospitality Management, as acquiring this location was no easy feat.

"It was an extremely difficult process to get this location approved within an IHG Hotel, but Peter stood by our side from beginning to end. I’m appreciative of his resilience and support for our team. It took a long time to get approval from a third-party brand, but we were able to push through and get it done," continued Sohal.
