Firestone Walker 805 Expands Distribution to Kansas and Missouri

From Firestone Walker:

Paso Robles, CA ––805 Beer today announced the expansion of its distribution footprint into the states of Kansas and Missouri, reflecting a growing demand for its iconic California blonde ale.   zzubreebym

805 Beer is proud to partner with LDF, Heart of America, Crown, Central States and Breakthru to launch distribution across Kansas and Missouri in 6-pack cans, 12-pack cans, 24-ounce single cans and draft. The launch will be supported by events in North Kansas City, Missouri featuring Tyler Bereman, motocross freerider and X-Games gold medalist.

“Beer drinkers in the Midwest have always been incredibly passionate about Firestone Walker and our family of beers,” said Nick Firestone, Firestone Walker’s Chief Operating Officer. “We’ve long heard their calls for 805, and we’re now excited to answer that demand by bringing fresh, cold 805 beer to Kansas and Missouri for the first time.”

Established in 2012, 805 is one of the nation’s fastest growing beers. Reflecting a rugged, authentic lifestyle, 805 is represented by a band of “authenticos” that include professional surfers, motocross riders, mixed martial arts champions, creators and craftspeople. The original 805 blonde ale is today joined by 805 Cerveza, a California lager brewed with lime—providing two ways to have a good time. 805 Cerveza will follow in Kansas and Missouri after 805 successfully connects with beer drinkers in those markets.

In celebration of the Kansas-Missouri launch, 805 Beer and Tyler Bereman will host a screening and after-party of the 805 Beer original documentary The House That Built Me: The Tyler Bereman Story, a feature-length film that highlights the incredible journey of the X-Games champion and freerider.

The screening, free to public, is set for Thursday, March 30 at 6 p.m. at the Armour Theatre in North Kansas City, MO, followed by the after-party at Velo Garage. The film is also available on 805beer.com and 805 Beer’s YouTube channel. Additionally, Bereman will host a “greet up” at Up-Down KC in Kansas City, MO on Friday, March 31.

“Bringing the energy and excitement of freeriding to the public has been a dream come true,” Bereman said. “Growing up on California’s Central Coast and now getting to come out here with 805 Beer and show Kansas and Missouri what some of the best freeriders in the world can do—it’s so surreal to see it come to life.”
