Introducing the Gibson Generation Group-Class of 2025; Powerful Two-Year Mentorship Program Features A Diverse Generation of Young Guitar Players

NASHVILLE, TN  (November 29, 2023) For 130 years, Gibson–the iconic American instrument brand–has shaped sound across generations and genres of music, becoming one of the most relevant, played, and loved guitar brands around the world. Music that inspired generational movements has been written and performed by young artists with their Gibson and Epiphone guitars, and with its artist-first culture, Gibson is dedicated to developing the next generation of music creators with the Gibson Generation Group, aka Gibson G3. A powerful two-year mentoring program, the Gibson Generation Group (Gibson G3), fosters a diverse new generation of young guitar players, songwriters, and music creators across the globe. Today, Gibson has revealed the new Gibson Generation Group-Class of 2025.

The Gibson Generation Group (G3) program encourages young players to pursue a career in music by providing monthly artist mentorships, one-on-one artist relations support, instrument loans, collaborative promotions, performance opportunities, and global marketing campaigns. The global collective of talented youth who participate in the Gibson G3 program receive career growth opportunities and develop lasting connections throughout the music industry with support from the Leadership and Cultural Influence teams at Gibson.

To support and develop the Gibson Generation Class of 2025, Gibson has enlisted the talents of longtime partner and Epiphone Signature Artist Emily Wolfe as the official G3 Class of 2025 Global Mentor. Wolfe has created a curriculum of monthly meetings for the G3 members that will explore several tracks–Guitar Player, Songwriter, Front Person, and Triple Threat– and will guide the group through topics from guitar playing styles and gear maintenance, to starting a band, home, and studio recording, writing original music and lyrics, and more. The tracks are designed to empower each G3 member with knowledge and hands-on experience in preparation for a career in music. Gibson artist Toby Lee will continue as G3 Program Mentor for the EU and UK, and both artists will provide career guidance and mentorship to G3 members.
