This Epiphone Coronet is part of the USA Collection. It is made in Nashville, Tennessee, by the same skilled luthiers and craftspeople who build all of the Gibson USA models with the same high-quality materials and design techniques.

NASHVILLE, TN (May 14, 2024) For over 150 years, Epiphone has been a leading innovator in instrument design. Epiphone is proud to unveil the legendary Coronet, one of its first and most successful original solid body guitar designs, is now Made in the USA. First introduced in 1958, the latest Epiphone Coronet is once again Made in the USA featuring the same symmetrical double cutaway mahogany body shape, three-on-a-side headstock shape, “Bikini” headstock badge, and pickguard shape as the earliest versions from 1958-1959, and includes a few modern improvements, including a slightly wider (1.695”) nut width and a comfortable SlimTaper™ neck profile, a slightly slimmer (1.375") body depth for better balance and lighter weight, a Graph Tech® nut, and a single P-90 Soapbar pickup. A no-frills rock machine, original USA-made Coronets have been played by everyone from Jimi Hendrix and Steve Marriott to Johnny Marr and Marshall Crenshaw. Every Epiphone Coronet comes in a Vintage Cherry or an Ebony finish, and a hardshell guitar case is included.
