AleSmith Brewing Company is putting the pedal down again with four new Speedway Stout Grand Prix MMXXVI variants coming in 2026. The San Diego brewery is continuing its popular Speedway Grand Prix concept with a quartet of decadent, dessert-inspired imperial stouts, each bringing a distinctly different flavor combination to the legendary Speedway Stout platform.

Label Text:

“THE SPEEDWAY GRAND PRIX HITS THE ROAD AGAIN FOR 2026—THIS TIME, WE’RE SERVING ICE CREAM. OUR LEGENDARY IMPERIAL STOUT SPLASHES INTO THE FAST LANE WITH FOUR BOLD, DESSERT-DRIVEN VARIANTS INSPIRED BY CLASSIC ICE CREAM FLAVORS. WITH EACH MIX-IS EACH BREW IS A TURBO-CHARGED SCOOP OF JOY, CRAFTED BY OUR SWEET SHOP SPECIALISTS. THIS MIXED 4-PACK CAPTURES THE SPIRIT OF THE CELEBRATION AND DROPS IT STRAIGHT INTO YOUR GLASS—NO PIT STOP REQUIRED.“

The Speedway Stout Grand Prix MMXXVI Vietnamese Coffee Crunch Edition pairs imperial stout with Vietnamese coffee, vanilla and natural flavors. At 12% ABV, this version looks ready to deliver the rich roasted coffee character that Speedway fans expect while adding sweet vanilla depth.2026 AleSmith Speedway STout Grand Prix MMXXVI Turtle SUNdae 16-oz Cans

Next up is the Speedway Stout Grand Prix MMXXVI Turtle Sundae Edition, an imperial stout brewed with roasted pecans, vanilla, cacao nibs, coffee and natural flavors. The combination points toward classic turtle-sundae territory, bringing together roasted nut, chocolate, vanilla and coffee flavors in one massive stout.2026 AleSmith Speedway STout Grand Prix MMXXVI Neapolitan 16-oz Cans

The Speedway Stout Grand Prix MMXXVI Neapolitan Edition takes inspiration from the classic combination of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. This 12% ABV imperial stout features cacao nibs, vanilla, strawberries, coffee and natural flavors, creating another dessert-driven interpretation of AleSmith’s iconic Speedway Stout.2026 AleSmith Speedway STout Grand Prix MMXXVI Cookies & Cream 16-oz Cans

Rounding out the 2026 lineup is the Speedway Stout Grand Prix MMXXVI Cookies & Cream Edition. This imperial stout combines cacao nibs, vanilla, coffee and natural flavors for a flavor profile designed around the familiar combination of chocolate cookies and creamy vanilla.

All four AleSmith Speedway Stout Grand Prix MMXXVI variants will arrive at 12% ABV and will be packaged in 16-ounce cans. The labels continue the colorful Grand Prix theme, with each variant receiving its own distinctive color scheme and artwork while maintaining the racing-inspired Speedway identity.

These new AleSmith Speedway Stout variants follow the brewery’s ongoing experimentation with dessert-inspired versions of its massive imperial stout. Previous Speedway releases have explored flavors ranging from pie-inspired combinations to peanut butter, coffee, and other confectionary-inspired additions.

With four new versions coming for 2026, Speedway Stout fans will have plenty of reasons to keep an eye on AleSmith’s release calendar. Release dates and availability have not yet been announced, so stay tuned for additional details, including official release information and tasting notes.

About AleSmith Brewing:

AleSmith Brewing Company is a highly regarded craft brewery based in San Diego, California, with a long history of producing bold, innovative and highly acclaimed beers. Founded in 1995, AleSmith has built an especially strong reputation around big-flavored beers, including its iconic Speedway Stout and West Coast-style IPA. The brewery’s willingness to experiment with specialty ingredients has made Speedway Stout a particularly versatile foundation for limited releases and specialty variants.

Speedway Stout is one of AleSmith’s signature beers, known for its rich imperial stout character and prominent coffee and chocolate flavors. Over the years, the brewery has transformed the core concept into numerous specialty releases, including barrel-aged versions, coffee variations and dessert-inspired editions. The Speedway Grand Prix series has become an especially recognizable part of that experimentation, allowing AleSmith to build themed collections around multiple flavor concepts.

The brewery has earned significant recognition throughout its history, including medals at national and international beer competitions and recognition from the Great American Beer Festival. AleSmith has also received attention for its influence within the San Diego craft beer community and its continued focus on high-quality specialty brewing.

AleSmith’s portfolio extends well beyond Speedway Stout. The brewery is also known for beers such as AleSmith IPA, My Bloody Valentine and Numbskull, while its specialty-release program frequently explores barrel aging, coffee, chocolate, fruit, dessert flavors and collaborations. That combination of established classics and experimental releases has helped AleSmith maintain a strong presence in the American craft beer landscape.

The 2026 Speedway Stout Grand Prix MMXXVI lineup fits naturally into that history. The Vietnamese Coffee Crunch, Turtle Sundae, Neapolitan and Cookies & Cream editions each approach the imperial stout from a different direction while retaining the familiar Speedway foundation. At 12% ABV and packaged in 16-ounce cans, the four beers are positioned as substantial dessert-style stouts for fans looking for rich, intense and highly flavored craft beer.

AleSmith’s continuing Speedway experimentation demonstrates how a brewery can take an established flagship beer and repeatedly reinterpret it without abandoning its core identity. The 2026 Grand Prix variants continue that tradition with four new combinations built around coffee, chocolate, vanilla, fruit and roasted-nut flavors.

For craft beer drinkers who follow limited AleSmith releases, the 2026 Speedway Grand Prix lineup should be one to watch. Release information, availability and tasting notes are still forthcoming, making these four new Speedway Stout variants an early look at what AleSmith has planned for its 2026 specialty stout program.
