Locations and Atmosphere

The distillery operates two primary locations, each offering a distinct way to experience their spirits:

Franklin County Farm Distillery: Located on a 127-acre working farm near Frankfort, this is where all production takes place. It features a relaxed, rural atmosphere with a cocktail bar, a large outdoor patio, and a fire pit. The farm is both pet-friendly and cigar-friendly (outdoors).

Louisville Tasting & Listening Room: Situated in the NuLu neighborhood, this urban location provides a similar “thieving” experience along with live music and a curated cocktail menu.
Whiskey Thief is the first Kentucky distillery to offer every visitor the chance to sample uncut and unfiltered whiskey straight from the barrel.

Interactive Tastings: Guests use a “whiskey thief”—a traditional copper tool—to extract samples from five different barrels.
