Creature Comforts Expands Curious Collection With Four New Releases: Always A Pleasure, Dayspring, Nelson Romance & Dark Mild
Today, I have four new beers joining the Curious Collection from Creature Comforts Brewing in Athens, Georgia, each one showcasing a different expression of the brewery’s mixed‑culture, farmhouse, and traditional ale program.
First up is Always A Pleasure, a dry‑hopped Foeder beer brewed with lemon verbena. This release blends bright citrus aromatics with the nuanced oak character of Foeder aging, and it will land at 6.4% ABV. Expect a refreshing, botanical profile layered over Creature Comforts’ signature mixed‑fermentation complexity.
Next in the lineup is Dayspring, a rustic “country” wheat beer designed to highlight grain character, subtle fermentation notes, and an easy‑drinking farmhouse profile. Dayspring will clock in at 5.3% ABV, making it a grounded, heritage‑inspired addition to the Curious Collection.
Nelson Romance will be a New Zealand foeder pale ale that will be dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin hops after aging in an Italian foeder (6%-AbV)
Rounding out the group is Dark Mild, a traditional English mild ale brewed exclusively with all‑English ingredients. This sessionable release hits 4% ABV and leans into classic malt‑forward flavors, think gentle roast, soft caramel, and a smooth, low‑gravity body that honors the timeless pub style.
All four beers, Always A Pleasure, Dayspring, Nelson Romance, and Dark Mild, will be packaged in 16‑oz cans as part of the Creature Comforts Curious Collection. Fans of mixed‑culture ales, Foeder‑aged beers, and traditional English styles will want to keep an eye on this drop. Stay tuned for full release details, distribution info, and tasting notes as Creature Comforts prepares these new offerings for launch.
