Lone Tree Brewing and Public Offering Brewing Collaborate on Wet Hop Beer: Fresh Class Ticket

DENVER, Colorado — Two Denver area breweries, Lone Tree Brewing and Public Offering Brewing, just debuted Fresh Class Ticket, a collaboration wet hop West Coast-style IPA. It is now on tap at both breweries’ taprooms while supplies last. 

Fresh Class Ticket has a ripe, lightly tropical and fruity aroma, with flavors of bright red berries, strawberries, and tropical melon that finish smooth and slightly resinous with subtle bitterness. 

Fresh Class Ticket was brewed with fresh kilned Root Shoot Malting Pilsner and Chit malts and Yakima Chief Fresh Wet Citra hops flown directly from Yakima Chief Hops before dry hopping with fresh cryo frozen Strata hops from Crosby Hops. The brewing teams at Lone Tree and Public Offering excitedly tracked the flight status on the flight delivering their hops, adjusting the brew time accordingly to make the freshest beer possible. 

“We even fermented it cool with lager yeast to preserve all those delicate oils,” says Cody Higginbottom, Founder at Public Offering Brewing. “Expect to have your palate saturated with loads of bright, brash, ripe, fruity, leafy and resinous fresh hop flavor on a dangerously drinkable beer. A massive thank you to our agricultural partners Yakima Chief, Coleman Agriculture, Crosby Hops and Root Shoot Malting, for all the sweat, sacrifice, and logistical hoop-jumping to help us craft this super soaked, super fresh green gem.”

The brewing teams at Lone Tree Brewing and Public Offering Brewing go way back. Harvest season felt like the perfect time to collaborate on a recipe, and help Public Offering to craft their first-ever wet hop beer. “We’ve been fans of Public Offering since before they opened,” says Lone Tree Brewing Director of Tasting Rooms Michael Webster. The timing couldn’t have been better with Yakima Chief Hops’ FRESH HOP AIR landing the 2025 harvest straight to the brew deck.
