KRBC had the pleasure of hosting the good folks from RIIP Beer Co. in Kernville. And yes, we made a tasty beer too! If you like IPAs (and we know you do), you don’t want to miss out on this one. RIIP has been crushing it lately, winning all sorts of awards for their hoppy beers. They are also pretty rad folks too!
Besides making a great beer, we took them on some amazing adventures you can only find in the Kern River Valley. Hiking the granite landscapes of Brush Creek, rafting the mighty Kern River and hanging out at the beach along the river’s edge were just some of the highlights. “Snorkel Lips” is a term from the river world that describes the feeling of being stuck underwater with no air to breathe. In those moments, you’d probably wish your lips were longer, and onlookers might notice your carp-like behavior. While snorkel lips are usually something you’d want to avoid, this beer is definitely something to enjoy. We’ve teamed up with our friends and IPA legends at RIIP Beer Co. to bring you that refreshing gulp you’ve been craving. Kick back, stretch those liips (see what we did there?), and enjoy!
