GLINTCAP Names 2 Towns Large Cidermaker of the Year for the 2nd Year in a Row

Sidekick N/A Pacific Pineapple earns Best in Class; 13 ciders bring home medals from world’s largest cider competition

CORVALLIS, OR  – May 28, 2025 – In a defining moment on the global stage, 2 Towns Ciderhouse has been named Large Cidermaker of the Year for the second year in a row at the 19th Annual Great Lakes International Cider and Perry Competition (GLINTCAP).

Held annually in Grand Rapids, the Great Lakes International Cider and Perry Competition (GLINTCAP) is the world’s largest and most respected cider competition. Drawing over 1,000 entries from four continents in 2025, GLINTCAP is dedicated to elevating the cider category through detailed feedback that drives growth, innovation, and craftsmanship across the community.

This year, 2 Towns Ciderhouse earned 13 medals, including a Best in Class award for its Sidekick N/A Pacific Pineapple.

Sidekick NA Pacific Pineapple Best In Class (#2):

2 Towns Ciderhouse’s Sidekick Non-Alcoholic line—the #1 selling dealcoholized cider in the U.S.—earned Best in Class at this year’s GLINTCAP for its Pacific Pineapple. The award adds to the Sidekick’s growing list of accolades and reinforces 2 Towns’ commitment to pushing innovation in the non-alcoholic space with the same integrity and craft as its traditional offerings.

This latest honor builds on more than a decade of success at GLINTCAP for 2 Towns Ciderhouse. Since its first appearance in 2012, the cidery has earned over 200 medals, including 5 Best in Class awards and Large Cidermaker of the Year 2024 and 2025.

2 TOWNS CIDERHOUSE TAKES A BITE OUT OF THE BIG APPLE, NAMED OREGON CIDER PRODUCER OF THE YEAR AT 2025 NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL CIDER COMPETITION

Multiple Medals for Raspberry Cosmic Crisp, Original Cosmic Crisp, and Pacific Pineapple

June 5, 2025 CORVALLIS, OR  – 2 Towns Ciderhouse is raising a glass to its recent success at the 2025 New York International Cider Competition (NYICC), where it was honored as Oregon Cider Producer of the Year and awarded multiple tasting medals. This recognition underscores 2 Towns’ dedication to quality and innovation—fueled by the bounty of the Pacific Northwest and a deep-rooted passion for craft cider.

The NYICC, known for its blind-tasting panel of industry experts—including importers, distributors, sommeliers, and retailers—evaluates cider entries from across the globe. With over 300 entries in this year’s competition, 2 Towns stood tall, solidifying its place at the forefront of the craft beverage movement.

Here is a summary of the winning ciders from 2 Towns Ciderhouse:

  • Raspberry Cosmic Crisp – Gold (Fruit Cider) – 95 points
  • Original Cosmic Crisp – Silver (Modern Cider) – 93 points
  • Pacific Pineapple – Bronze (Fruit Cider) – 90 points
