Westvleteren XII Release & Coming to US

I’ve been quietly following along as one of the Holy-Grails of craft beers worldwide, launched a new gift pack for distribution.  This gift packaging was launched and the entire allotment of just under 100,000 packages purportedly sold out in a day, with most gone in the early morning hours of this rock-star release.  The bad news is that many of these packages have found their way to e-Bay where the 6-bottle / 2-glass gift pack is already commanding prices over $200.  The good news is that we can expect to see Shelton brothers importing a limited number (about 7500) of gift packages into the US in Spring 2012….so stay tuned for details.
