Grand Rapids “Beer City USA” Co-Brews Beer City Pale Ale

Brewers from 10 different Grand Rapids met to co-brew a beer in celebration of Grand Rapids being named Beer City USA.  The beer will be called Beer City Pale Ale and it will be released July 1st.  Details from Mlive:

GRAND RAPIDS, MI — While hanging out at The Hideout doing what brewers do together, the guys in the Grand Rapids Society of Brewers decided some kind of substantial response was needed to mark the city’s new crown as ‘Beer City USA.’

The fruit, or pale ale of their labor, will hit tap handles all over Grand Rapids on Sunday, July 1 when the 10 different West Michigan breweries that collaborated on the project will unveil the "Beer City Pale Ale" at their respective establishments.

The breweries that collaborated on the project include:

• White Flame Brewing Co., 5234 36th Ave, Hudsonville
• Jaden James Brewing Co. at Cascade Winery, 4665 Broadmoor SE, Kentwood.
• Pike 51 Brewing Co., 3768 Chicago Drive, Hudsonville.
• The Michigan Beer Cellar, 500 East Division Street, Sparta
• The B.O.B.’s Brewery, 20 Monroe Ave NW, Grand Rapids.
• HopCat, 25 Ionia Ave SW, Grand Rapids.
• Founders, 235 Grandville Ave SW, Grand Rapids.
• Schmohz Brewing, 2600 Patterson Ave SE, Grand Rapids.
