Stone Invites Fans To Bring Their Beer To Vertical Epic Festival To Investigate Cellaring Techniques

Here’s an interesting aspect of the upcoming Stone Epic Festival.  Steve Wagner & Greg Koch are inviting attendees to bring their own Stone Vertical Epic beers (2002 through 2005) to the festival for a tasting to explore the results of different cellaring techniques.  This from Stone:

Our Co-Founders, Steve Wagner and Greg Koch, invite you to bring along your Stone Vertical Epic Ales to share and compare to those we’re serving as an investigative look into the art of cellaring beer… y’know, for science.

Specifically, that’s Stone 02.02.02 Vertical Epic Ale thru the Stone 05.05.05 Vertical Epic Ale that we’ll be comparison tasting. We’ll have some fridge-kept bottles of each of those vintages and we’ll be sharing them with people who bring their bottles of the VE02-VE05.
