We’ve got hops from the Pacific Northwest. We’ve got coffee from Chicago’s Two Brothers Brewing Company. Now, all we need is our buddy, Jason Ebel from Two Brothers to GET HERE along with the homerewers extraordinaire of ChiTown’s Aleman, so we can turn the latter’s recipe for COFFEE IPA into a big production reality! Looking forward to the brewhouse smelling roasty and citrusy this Thursday!

It smells simultaneously like breakfast and beer o’clock around the brewhouse today. We have Aleman, the trio that won Chicago’s Ironbrew homebrewing competition, and our friends from Two Brothers Brewing Company here brewing up the next Stone collaboration beer, a coffee IPA made using beans from Two Brothers’ brand new artisan roasting operation. An eye-opening experience for sure. Look for this one in late March! — with Danny Valdez, John Bowers and Daniel Noriega.
