Fat Cat Beer Co Launches Confession IPA & California Distribution

The Fat Cat Beer Company, makers of “sessionable,” handcrafted beer in cans,

announced its contribution to the legacy of India Pale Ales with the launch of its

Confession™ IPA.

“Confession™ IPA is brewed using American IPA brewing

practices. We feature a combination of hops that

give the beer a distinctive but not overpowering hop

character. The beer is dry hopped during aging with

Cascade hops, providing a citrus presence and earthy

aroma. When combined with its malt blend, the hop

character is balanced by a slight sweetness with full

body flavor in the mouth, said Ray Klimovitz, The Fat

Cat Beer Company’s brew master. “The beer features

remarkable clarity, a refreshing taste and an exceptionally

smooth finish.”

Confession™ IPA contains 6.0 percent ABV and uses a

combination of 2 Row Base Malt, Caramel Malt and Carapils

Malt in addition to Cascade, Centennial and Columbus

hops.

distributor and importer’s license and has started

selling its products throughout the state.

After achieving significant traction in Florida, Georgia and

Virginia, the San Diego-based company that brews its

beers in Wisconsin now brings their beer to its own backyard
