Strangeways Brewing Settles Dispute With Strange Brew

Local craft brewery Strangeways Brewing has settled its eight-month trademark-rights dispute with Strange Brew, a Massachusetts shop that sells supplies for beer-makers and wine-makers.
Under the settlement, both companies are free to continue with their current names. Specific terms of the settlement, reached last week, were not disclosed.
Neil Burton, founder of Strangeways, said he was “very happy” with the settlement. Brian Powers, owner of Strange Brew, could not be reached.
