Flat12 Launches #WhatWillYouBrew Campaign

Monday, January 25th, Flat12 will launch the #WhatWillYouBrew contest, an interactive social media campaign that will give one lucky Flat12 fan the chance to brew and name their very own small batch beer in collaboration with Flat12. The contest invites fans to participate by submitting creative selfies via Twitter or Instagram featuring Flat12’s new, rebranded packaging with the hashtag #RevvedUpBeer. By doing so, they will automatically be entered into the contest to create their very own beer in collaboration and under the guidance of Flat12 Gallon Series Brewer, EZ.
The contest will run for two weeks with a winner picked on #SelfieSaturday, February 6th, 2016. The most creative selfie submission will be selected by the Flat12 team, so they’re encouraging people to have some fun. Flat12 will also host a tapping party at the taproom of the winner’s choosing— Indianapolis or Kentuckiana, to celebrate the winner’s limited small batch beer release. “We wanted to find a way to include our consumers in our rebranding and 5-year milestone, so we thought it would be fun to create a scavenger hunt of sorts that ends with one of our loyal fans creating their own Flat12 imprint,” said Director of Marketing, Valerie Green.

Rules and Terms:
- The contest is free to enter, participants must use the hashtag #revvedupbeer and post a selfie with any of the newly packaged Half Cycle IPA, Upside Down Blonde, Walkabout Pale Ale, or Pogue’s Run Porter.
- Participants must follow the Twitter or Instagram account @flat12bierwerks.
- The contest will run from January 25th-February 6th.
- The winner will be contacted and announced February 8th.
- The final beer recipe must be designed with and approved by the Flat12 brewer.
- Winner must be 21+ with valid ID and is required to sign a waiver.
- Winner must coordinate date and time of brew with Flat12 brewers according to Flat12’s production schedule.
- The tapping event date and time will be determined post-production according to Flat12’s beer release schedule.
- Winner will receive a $25 gift card to be used on the day of the tapping event.
- Flat12 will not cover travel costs or accommodations.
