Otter Creek Suing Good Life Brewing Over “Brew Shed”

The Shed Brewery, owned by Otter Creek Brewing Company, LLC, owns the trademarked right to market the word “SHED” on its beer and ale products. The company is suing an Oregon competitor, GoodLife Brewing Company, for its beer product “Brew Shed,” which Otter Creek said is sold in Vermont. Otter Creek accuses GoodLife of confusing consumers and devaluing The Shed brand by creating a “deceiving” look-alike. The lawsuit was filed May 18 in the U.S. District Court.
