Area Two Launches Between The Barrel Series and New Cans

Ever wonder what it takes to turn a regular actor into a horrific nightmare or whimsical nymph on the big screen? Join us for Area Two Experimental Brewing’s first installment of the Between The Barrels Series: Monster Making to find out!
Between the Barrels is a thought-provoking, comprehensive series that highlights storytelling, spoken word, lecture or performance with one common thread: interesting people doing interesting stuff while drinking interesting beer.
First up, we have Tyler Green – SFX Makeup and Prosthesis Artist taking you in between the barrels & on the production floor of Area Two Experimental Brewing. Tyler will offer insight into how he took an original design from concept to reality. Tyler will also explain how costume can play an important role when creating a character from head to toe during a live demo!
Tyler is one of the most inspiring, innovative and outside-of-box thinkers you’ll ever meet. With an intuitive and innovative approach to the creative process, he uses his artistic ability and skills to work within a variety of industries requiring his expertise in SFX makeup and education. He is the owner of Creative Genius LLC, and is an inventor of consumer gadgets and accessories. Among many other products, Tyler conceptualized and developed The Wonderband Systems, an intricate intelligent concept for gripping items, with applications in multiple industries. Last but not least, Tyler is an educator. He teaches students of all ages in his studio located in Winsted, CT. He travels all around the country training the next generation of makeup artists.

Area Two Releases First Ever Cans with Synopsis Series

Area Two Experimental Brewing is leaving the brewery in Stratford and heading to you with the first-ever market release of its brand-new Synopsis series in 16 oz. can 2-packs!
Master Brewing Phil Markowski has used a variety of techniques to brew sour and experimental beer over the last 30 years. Synopsis, as the name implies, utilizes a mix of those brewing and blending techniques individually mastered by Markowski for a single, summarizing brew.
Synopsis is a mixed-fermentation series of brews fermented with wild and cultured yeast strains. It is then aged on wood to deliver subtle funk notes while abundant amounts of fruit create a provocative and refreshingly tart beer.
Synopsis Black Currant features earthy tones and a dark berry fruitiness that provides a stunning combination of flavor and color. Synopsis Prickly Pear captures the unique essence of this wonderful cactus with effusive tropical and citrus notes that harmonize with the mix-fermented funk notes.
Synopsis Black Currant and Synopsis Prickly Pear are available on draft and in cans to-go at the brewery and in elsewhere in CT where Two Roads is sold.
