Landing today, Dec. 14, is the latest batch of this uniquely sour strawberry wild ale from Barrelworks, being released at all Firestone Walker taprooms and then select stores in the coming weeks.
The final of just four national Barrelworks releases for 2019, Champs de Fraises – French for “strawberry fields” – offers a uniquely refreshing sipping experience with pronounced fruit flavors and lively acidity. Aged in French oak barrels and fermented with 8,000 pounds of strawberries selected from the Mount Hood region of Oregon.
