RYE LAGER

Bright and copper in color, this new beer blends soft, spicy rye notes with the crisp shortbread characteristics of a lager. Flavors of toasted malt and vanilla are balanced by a dry mouthfeel and light floral aroma. With its full body and bright flavor, our Rye Lager perfectly bridges the coziness of winter and the promise of spring.

BLACK RAVEN PILSNER

Lager

Straight and to the point, this is pilsner.

No fancy name, no funny stuff. We invite you evaluate and enjoy this prototype of our new pilsner that we are adding to our year round brew schedule.

This clean and crisp lager is brewed with imported pilsner malt and a blend of domestic and imported hops. 

We’ve taken a traditional beer style and while keeping that tradition, crafted it with a Black Raven spin.

ABV: 5.3%

This is one of our two rotating hazy style beers that we brew throughout the year. We started with some 2-row pale and pilsner malt and added some wheat, lactose and oats to build a hazy base. Then we fermented this beer with Imperial Yeast lab’s Juicy strain to enhance the hazy appearance and add some more fruity flavors to the hop profile. Meet Nothing but Hazy, a paradise of tropical and citrus aromas, balanced by light hop bitterness and a mid-dry finish.

Brewed in our Redmond Innovation Brewery for the 2020 Hop Mob Roadshow, we created a beer supporting the mission of highlighting outstanding hop character. Two rounds of dry hopping on a 2.5lb-per-barrel hop bill of Strata, Barbe Rouge and El Dorado bring red berries and stone fruit into the spotlight. Malt plays a supporting role, adding body to balance the intense hop character with the rye malt harmonizing the resinous hop notes.
