Stone 02.02.2020 Epic Palindrome Ale

And…

Back on February 2, 2002 (otherwise known as 02.02.02), we released the first of our now deified decade-spanning Stone Vertical Epic Ale series. The next was released on 03.03.03, then 04.04.04 all the way up until 12.12.12. As we realized that the 18^th anniversary of that first release is the magnificently palindromic date of 02.02.2020, we knew a suitably epic tribute was necessary. And thus, Stone 02.02.2020 Epic Palindrome Ale was conceived, brewed, and bottled.
This, like the original, is a half Belgian-inspired, half Stone-inspired ale and features sweet orange peel and tangerine. Incredibly tasty now, but destined to mature beautifully over time. This very limited release will be available in 22oz bottles at select retailers and Stone locations in California only, rolling out this week. But we’re offering it now online, for direct shipping to you. (CA shipping addresses only.)
And while those original bottles released in 2002 are almost certainly all gone now, we’re pulling a few cases of The 20^th Anniversary Encore Series: Stone 02.02.02 Vertical Epic Ale (a re-brew of the original recipe, released in 2015), as well as 20^th Anniversary Encore Series: Stone 08.08.08 Vertical Epic Ale (2016) out of our own cellar to offer them online alongside this new tribute to the series.
