Black Raven Releasing Bananas & Beaux

From our Taproom Series of single batch releases just for our taprooms, Bananas & Beaux was brewed to the style of traditional German style hefeweizen. Light in color and alcohol, this ale features moderate banana and clove components layered onto a flavorful wheat and pilsner malt base. The light and delicate flavor of the Northern Brewer hops rounds out the profile.

Our Fresh Hop beer for 2020 is brewed exclusively with with El Dorado hops which were picked and kiln dried at Roy Farms in Moxee, Washington. We started by adding some fresh hops to the whirlpool and then dry-hopped it with even more to squeeze every last bit of fresh goodness into the beer as we could. The finished product is richly juicy, allowing you to enjoy the full flavor profile of El Dorado with a lower overall bitterness.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a beer! This new introduction to our hazy series is an imperial IPA full of citrus and tropical flavors thanks to the new Trident™ hop blend in harmony with Mosaic. A hearty addition of wheat and oats give Macho Grande a beautiful hazy appearance and smooth body.

What happens when our brewhouse loses its mind? The phantom recipe zero pops up and causes havoc for the brewers. We decided to create real Recipe Zero to appease the technology gremlins and, of course, ourselves. Our Recipe Zero is an IPA infused with peaches.

Recipe Zero will be available at both Black Raven taprooms in 16oz cans and on draft.

TROPICAL TRICKSTER

IPA infused with Pineapple & Mango

Tropical Trickster is the springtime variation of our best-selling Trickster IPA. This beer is brewed with slightly less bitterness than normal and infused with pineapple and mango juices.

New for 2021, Tropical Trickster will be available in 16oz cans, 22oz bottles, and on draft. We’ll have it ready for you at the Redmond and Woodinville locations when we open at noon.

This hazy style pale is brewed with pilsner malt, wheat, and oats. Holding Pattern is a bright and fluffy wheat ale hopped with sunny, citrus-forward hop varietals like Mandarina Bavaria and El Dorado.

Both locations will have Holding Pattern available in cans and on draft when we open tomorrow at noon!

Element 2: Hops. Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Roy Farms in Moxee, Washington. This IPA features four great hop varietals: Azacca, Bravo, Chinook and Strata.

A portion of sales will be donated to Washington Farmland Trust.

Element 3: Yeast. Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Imperial Yeast in Portland. Oregon. This German-Style Hefeweizen gets its distinctive flavor & aroma from the yeast strain used to ferment the beer.
