Since we founded Akademia Brewing Company in July 2016, we have poured our hearts (and hops) into every pint for nearly a decade. Today, with heavy hearts, we announce that we have made the difficult decision to close our doors.

This journey has been an incredible adventure filled with laughter, unforgettable nights, new friendships, and countless shared moments over great beer. What started as a small dream grew into something truly special — thanks in large part to the talented team members, both past and present, who brought their passion, creativity, and hard work to Akademia over the years.

Like many craft breweries, we have faced severe financial challenges in recent years. Significant changes in the industry, rising costs, and shifting market conditions ultimately made it unsustainable for us to continue operating. Despite our deepest gratitude and overwhelming support from our community, these pressures have led us to this difficult outcome.
