About Real American Beer:

America’s at its best when united. And if there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s the simple pleasure of sharing a beer. That’s why we started Real American Beer —
to bring people together, one beer at a time.

The brand name “Real American Beer” refers to a light lager co-founded by pro wrestler Hulk Hogan.

Real American Beer
Background: Launched in 2024, Real American Beer (RAB) is a premium light beer promoted with a patriotic, American-made theme.

Marketing: The brand’s marketing heavily features its co-founder, Hulk Hogan, and promotes a message of American unity. Its branding often includes the American flag.

Brewing and distribution: It is a contract-brewed product, meaning its production is outsourced to another facility, in this case, Great Central Brewing. It is available in many states and is distributed through major retailers like Walmart.

Product details: The beer is a light lager with 4.2% ABV, 110 calories, and 4g carbs.

About Hulk Hogan:

Terry Gene Bollea (1953–2025), better known as Hulk Hogan, was an American professional wrestler, media personality, and actor. He was one of the most recognizable and influential figures in professional wrestling history, known for his charismatic “all-American hero” persona that fueled the sport’s boom in the 1980s.

Rise to fame and “Hulkamania”
Early Career: After being discovered by the Brisco Brothers, Hogan began his professional wrestling career in 1977. His first significant stint in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) saw him work as a villain. He gained mainstream attention with a cameo as the wrestler Thunderlips in the 1982 film Rocky III.
Birth of Hulkamania: He returned to the WWF in 1983 as a fan-favorite “Hulkamania” character. His popularity skyrocketed, and he won his first WWF Championship in 1984 by defeating The Iron Sheik at Madison Square Garden.
Pop Culture Icon: With his signature red and yellow attire, bandana, and catchphrases like “Whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild on you?”, Hogan became a pop culture icon. His career highlights include:Teaming up with Mr. T to main-event the first WrestleMania in 1985.
Body-slamming the 500-pound André the Giant at WrestleMania III in 1987 in one of wrestling’s most iconic moments.
Winning back-to-back Royal Rumbles in 1990 and 1991.

Transition to WCW and “Hollywood” Hogan
Move to WCW: Hogan left the WWF in 1993 and joined rival promotion World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1994, where he won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship multiple times.
Forming the nWo: In 1996, Hogan made a shocking villainous turn, forming the New World Order (nWo) with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. As “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan, his dark, arrogant persona helped WCW briefly surpass WWF in the Monday Night Wars television ratings.

Later career and death
WWE Return: After WCW was bought by WWE, Hogan returned to the company in 2002. He briefly revived his “Hollywood” Hogan character as part of a reunited nWo before returning to his red-and-yellow “Hulkamania” persona as a fan favorite.
Retirement: Hogan officially retired from in-ring competition in 2012, but continued making special appearances.
Death: He passed away from a cardiac arrest on July 24, 2025, at the age of 71.

Controversies and public downfall
Steroid Scandal: During the 1990s, Hogan testified in a major steroid trial against Vince McMahon. After years of denial, Hogan admitted under oath to using anabolic steroids.
Leaked Sex Tape: In 2012, the website Gawker published portions of a secretly recorded sex tape featuring Hogan.
Racist Comments: Audio from the tape, released in 2015, revealed Hogan making a racist tirade using racial slurs. This led to WWE terminating his contract, removing him from the Hall of Fame, and publicly distancing themselves from him. Hogan apologized for the comments, and was reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018.

Other ventures and personal life
Film and TV: Beyond wrestling, Hogan starred in films like Suburban Commando and Mr. Nanny. He was also featured in the popular reality TV series Hogan Knows Best (2005–2007) with his family.
Marriages: He was married three times:Linda Claridge (1983–2009), with whom he had two children, Brooke and Nick.
Jennifer McDaniel (2010–2021).
Sky Daily (2023–2025).
Legacy: Despite his controversies, Hogan is widely recognized as one of professional wrestling’s biggest and most influential stars. His career was a combination of undeniable success and significant public controversy.
